Gale Sills

Angier- Gale Clark Sills, 86, of Four Oaks, NC passed away on Thursday at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield surrounded by his loving family. Born in Sampson County, Gale was the son of the late Lattis Sills and Velna Jackson Sills.

Gale is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joan Price Sills; daughter, Renee Sills Pleasant (Keith) of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Amanda Sills, Kyle Pleasant (Lucy), Ryan Sills, and Rebecca Pleasant; great grandchildren, Caroline Pleasant, Levi Pleasant, and Isabella Pleasant; brothers, Kenneth Sills of Dunn and Dwayne Sills (Sylvia) of Dunn.

Gale is preceded in death by his son, Christopher Gale Sills; sister, Virginia Lou Sills;

brothers, Jerald Sills and Charles Sills.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 17th at Kennebec Baptist Church Cemetery, 9808 Kennebec Church Rd. Angier, NC 27501.
