Gale Yvonne Heimlich

Gale Yvonne Sehl Heimlich, 81, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024. A native of Albany, New York, Gale was born September 27, 1942, to the late Donald Earl and Ruth Estella Gillett Sehl. Gale loved and supported the military, especially the Navy and Air Force. She enjoyed bowling and collecting penguins, of which she had thousands. She loved her tattoos. Gale was a lifetime member of the American Legion and VFW auxiliaries.

Gale is survived by her daughters, Yvonne Kraemer and husband, Robert, of Indiana, Diane Heimlich and husband, Ed, of North Carolina, and Loretta Miller and husband, Tim, of North Carolina; grandchildren, Sherrylyn, David, Michael, Trevor, Megan, Jeremy, Odie, Hunter, and Aniken; sister, Donna Sehl Zobie; as well as several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Gale was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Duane L. Heimlich; sister, Dawn Sehl Roach; and brother, Bruce Milo Sehl.
