Garland B. Williams

RALEIGH - Garland Branch Williams, 46, passed away Thursday, July 30 after bravely battling cancer. Garland lived his life to the fullest and far longer and better than anyone could have predicted. He set an example for all to follow in enjoying each and every day and recognizing the importance of family and friends. Surviving are his parents, Robin and Richard Baumgart; sisters, Michelle Bigham and Fay Strasel; his girlfriend, Lynne Muller; sons, John and Bryan Booth; daughter, Lillian Deeds; brother, Garland Pilgrim; and granddaughter, Charlotte Ann Booth. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 8, at 2 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Road. A reception for friends and family will follow at the funeral home.
