Gary Wilton Mclamb

After a long battle against physical and health issues, Gary Wilton McLamb, 68, of Raleigh, NC, formerly of Angier, NC, passed away peacefully on September 15th, 2021. Gary was a Veteran of the US Army. Prior to an accident in his 20's that left him with physical limitations, to include full use of his fingers and hands, Gary was a talented artist and guitar player. While Gary was known to be quiet and reserved, he was better known for his kindness and his gentle soul. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, James Wilton McLamb and Thelma Creech McLamb. He will be gravely missed by his Sister, Bonnie Hyatt and his Brother In Law, Don Hyatt. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 25th, 2021 at 2:00 PM, at Hollands United Methodist Church, 9433 Ten-Ten Road, Raleigh, NC, 27603. Prior to his passing, Gary asked that upon his passing, we be happy for him. In honor of this request, we will celebrate that the battle is won and he is now free of pain. We ask that all that have known Gary, please come as you are and share a memory or memories of Gary.
