George A. Beasley

WILLOW SPRING - George Avery Beasley, 84, of 12281 Old Stage Road passed on Tuesday. A native of Johnston County he was the son of the late Hal Bobbitt Beasley and Maidie Peacock Beasley. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial will follow at the Willow Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Surviving are his son, Steve Beasley and wife, Linda of Willow Spring, grandchildren, Stephen Beasley and Candace Loehman, great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Yates, Ashlyn Loehman, Destiny Beasley, Brandon and Jared Bunn, Brittany, Savanna, Rachel and Nathan May; seven sisters and two brothers. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Maythorn King Beasley in 2009. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 - 1:00 pm one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
