George Anton Ziegler

George Anton Ziegler, 80 of Angier, NC passed away peacefully at Wake Medical Center on Thursday June 16, 2022. George was a 'man about Angier' and loved to make friends, laugh, and talk politics with anyone and everyone. He loved his family and cherished his grandchildren and his dog. George was born in St. Louis, MO on August 18, 1941. George met his wife Patricia of 48 years in 1974. They fell in love at first sight and were married two weeks later. He is preceded in death by his father, George Casper Ziegler; mother, Anna Musil Schulte; stepfather, Richard Schulte; and his son, Jeffery Raab. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ziegler of Angier, NC; son Christopher Ziegler of Richmond, VA; daughter Desiree Fagundes and her husband Francisco Fagundes Jr. of Angier, NC; grandchildren, Josue Fagundes, Francisco Fagundes, Gillyane Fagundes, Alejandro Fagundes, and Henrique Fagundes of Angier, NC. George had no siblings to mention. No memorial service will be held at this time. The family would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers during this difficult time.
