Gerald Raymond Bryant

Gerald Raymond Bryant was born on July 9, 1945 in Fairfield, California to Charles Raymon Bryant and Gloria Elaine Hager Bryant. He passed away at UNC Medical Center, Chapel Hill, North Carolina on July 11, 2024. He served in the United States Army’s 82nd Airborne Division for 9 years including both active duty and reserves, and fought in the Vietnam War receiving a Bronze Star. He then went on to work for IBM for over 20 years before retiring.

A graveside service will be held for Gerald Raymond Bryant on Friday, July 19, 2024 in the Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh, NC at noon.

He is survived by his current wife, Camille Littlejohn Bryant, and children; Michael Bryant of Angier, NC, Michelle Hauge (Doug Hauge) of Wake Forest, NC, and Ann Pachapa (Eric Pachapa) of Chicago, IL, and stepson Michael Hallmark of Harrisburg, PA; five grandchildren; Tyler R Holloway, Morgan A Holloway, Ashleigh Pachapa, Julia Pachapa and Erin Pachapa; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Jean Leeper Bryant; both parents; a sister, Gloria Ray and two brothers, Charles Mickey Bryant and Jim Thornton.
