Geraldine Howard Young

WILLOW SPRING– Geraldine Howard Young, 90, passed away on Saturday at Transitions LifeCare. She was born in Wake County but was raised and spent most of her life in Willow Spring. Geraldine was the daughter of the late Tony Howard and Addie Ferrell Howard. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 11th at 1:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Angier. Burial will follow at Willow Spring Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Geraldine is survived by her son, Russell Young (Beth); grandchildren, Chad Young (Lara), Bryan Young (Crystal), Josh Young (Tia), Ashley Young, Wyatt Young, Tristan Young; two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernice “Roy” Young; son, Tony “Sam” Young; brothers, William Albert Howard, Coy Howard, Wilton Ray Howard, Thomas Howard, and Charlie Bugg Howard.
