Geraldine “Jean” Copella Mattivi

Jean C. Mattivi, 88, originally from Kersey, PA, left us peacefully to be with Jesus while surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 15, 1932 and married the love of her life, Irvin C. Mattivi on June 20, 1953. She worked in banking and enjoyed waitressing because she loved people. Jean was a charter member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Surviving are her daughters, Pat Best, Cathy Hart, Bonnie Jackson and Jeannin Gray; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; sister, Barb Schatz; many nieces, nephews and friends who loved her. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Friday, January 8, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park. Mrs. Mattivi will lie in repose at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Raleigh for those who wish to view and pay their respects.
