Gerry Gwynne Guy

RALEIGH - Gerry Gwynne Guy, 62, passed away Wednesday at Uni-Health Post Acute Care in Raleigh following a courageous four year battle with lung cancer. Born in Harnett County, she is the daughter of Graham G. and Doris L. Guy of Raleigh. Gerry served as an Administrative Assistant with the NC Department of Health and Human Services. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Teresa G. Hoeppner and husband, Keith; nephew, Corey Nicholas Hoeppner, all of Raleigh; niece, Megan Hoeppner Adam and husband, Jesse of Fuquay-Varina; and her beloved Yorkie, Sydney. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
