Gertrud Cremer Wren

Gertrud Cremer Wren, 77, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022. A native of Berghim, Germany, Gertrud was born October 27, 1944, to the late Gottfried and Kate Cremer. As a child, she grew up in Bergheim, Germany working on her family’s farm. Gertrud later helped her father, working for the Postmaster in Germany. She also spent many years working in housekeeping for a hospital, where she was recognized many times for her meritorious service. Gertrud was a long-time parishioner at St. Mary Mother of the Church, in Garner.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 2 PM, at St. Mary Mother of the Church Catholic Parish, Garner. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park, in Clayton. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, from 6-8PM, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
Gertrud is survived by her children, Joe Wren and wife, Joann, David Wren and wife, Janice, Malissa Brousseau and husband, Dennis, and Michelle Morales and husband, Angel; grandchildren, Karina, Amanda, Donald, Jessica, Rebecca, Krystale, Kristine, Kymberly and Alyssa; great grandchildren, Dylan, Ryleigh, Samantha, Amberly, Dallas, Dylan,Hannah, Valerie, Conner, Cora, Genevieve, Liston, Matthias, Thaddeus, Zella, Noah, and with two more on the way; sisters, Ursula Link and Dorothea Meinert; and a brother, Franz-Josef Cremer.
