Gilbert Mayo

Gilbert Ward Mayo, 80, passed away August 21, 2018 with his family by his side. He was born Nov. 2, 1937 the son of the late David and Lucille Mayo. There will be a Memorial Service Friday August 24th at 1:00 pm at Garner Church of Christ. Along with his parents his was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years Linda Mayo in June of 2018. Survivors include daughter; Dianna Mayo, son, Gil Mayo and wife Gina; grandchildren; Elise Rice and husband Phil and Jeff Mayo; great-grandson, Kellen Rice; brother David Mayo and sister, Carole Eidson and husband Cooke. The family will receive friends and relatives Friday Aug. 24, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner from 11:30am – 12:30 pm.
