Gilbert Roland Truelove

Gilbert Roland Truelove, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at age of 88. Gil was born on February 14, 1933 to father, Roland Lee Truelove and Eva Daisy Pardue. Gil proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was owner and operator of Triangle Contractor, Inc., which he opened in 1973. Gil was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Doreen Eisert Truelove; his daughter, Cynthia T. Price; and his second wife, Darla Cardon Truelove. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Ruby Bowling, and brothers, Jack Truelove and Charles Truelove. He is survived by his brother, Jerry Truelove (Bonnie); sons, Kenneth Truelove (Jane) and Michael Truelove (Glenda); daughter, Bonnie Bridges (Bobby); son-in-law, Ray Price; stepsons, Steve Cardon (Debra) and Bobby Cardon (Mary); stepdaughters, Susan Broadwell (Kenny) and Lisa Clark (Lane); seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC from 6-8:00pm. A funeral service will be Friday, July 9, 2021 at Amplify Church of the Nazarene, 2884 NC-42, Willow Spring, NC at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh. .
