Ginger

Mary “Ginger” Cox, 73, passed away October 14, 2021. A native of Wake County, Ginger was born November 5, 1947, to the late John Wesley and Annie Laura Harvey Cox. She loved cats and was a master of the classic art of mailing her family and friends greeting cards. It didn’t have to be a special occasion for Ginger to send you a card or note in the mail. A celebration of Ginger’s life will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021, at 12:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for an hour prior to the service. Ginger is survived by her aunt, Faye Smith; cousins, Sonya Beach, Judy Smith, and Robert Barbour; and her special friend, Pat Parrish. In addition to her parents, Ginger was preceded in death by a brother, Maxwell “Max” Cox.
