Glen William Holland, 79, passed away Saturday at Rex Hospital. A native of Johnston County he was the son of the late William Artemas and Flonnie Johnson Holland. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday night at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Pastor Chris Hall will be officiating at the services. The family will receive friends immediately after the funeral services at the funeral home. Burial will take place Wednesday morning at 11:00 AM at the Plainview Presbyterian Church cemetery. Glen was a familiar and friendly face as you entered the doors of the Corner Grill. He had been associated with the Grill for 24 years. He will be missed. Surviving are his companion, Mozelle Price of Angier; son, Glen William Holland, Jr., of Hillsboro, OR; his family, Danny, Wayne, Ronnie and Phil Holland; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; nine nieces and nephews and several cousins. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Earl Holland, sisters, Omaline H. Price, Margie H. Howard and Annie Lou H. Tew.
