Glenn Edward Lickvar, Jr.

ANGIER - Glenn Edward Lickvar, Jr., 45, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 25, at his home. Glenn was born to Glenn Edward Lickvar Sr. and Joan Moore Goodnough on June 6, 1973 at Kincheloe Air Force Base, Michigan. Glenn lived a short time in Michigan and Illinois but spent most of his early years in central New York with his mother, Joan and step-father, Paul Goodnough. He graduated from Mexico High School and eventually moved to Angier, NC where his mother and step-father resided. Glenn was employed by Gray-Flex Systems, Inc. in Coats, NC as a forklift operator. He enjoyed sports, especially NASCAR, working on cars in his spare time, and clowning around with friends and family, who fondly remember his crazy antics. He is survived by his father, Glenn, of Syracuse, NY; step-father, Paul Goodnough of Angier, NC; aunt and godmother, Mary Alice Moore of Syracuse, NY; aunt, Sabra Moore of Vienna, IL; cousins, Elizabeth and Thomas T. Moore, Bernard T. Piquet, and Brianna M. Piquet. Glenn was pre-deceased by his mother, Joan (Moore) Goodnough; paternal grandparents, John and Denise Lickvar; maternal grandparents, Thomas J. and Alice Moore; and uncle, Michael J. Moore. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 9, from 4:00-6:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. A Memorial Celebration will be held in Syracuse, NY at a later date.
