Gordon Reece Latham

GARNER - Gordon Reece Latham, 84, died Friday. Born at Rex Hospital on South St. in Raleigh, he was the son of the late John Roy Latham and Eula Reece Latham. Gordon graduated from Broughton High School and Oak Ridge Military Academy. He lived in Raleigh until 1957, at which time he moved to Garner. He owned and operated Capital Glass Service and retired from the NC DOT. Funeral services will be 2:30 pm Monday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service Monday from 1:30-2:30 pm at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Jackie Latham; sons, Chris Latham and wife, Bonnie of Garner and Steve Latham and wife, Tina of Clayton; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
