Grace Evelyn Gilbert

Grace Evelyn Gilbert was born in Lillington NC on May 26, 1928 daughter of Mallie Mae Lee and Ronnie B Lee.  She passed away peacefully on Sept 1, 2017 in Dunn NC. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Gilbert, and sisters, Caroline Messer, Iris and Maxine Blanchard. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.  A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier. She is survived by her son, Johnny Ray; grandchildren, Benjamin Kyle and Andrew Brenton Gilbert; great-children: Tiffany, Mary, Shyanne, Hulayna, Kayla, John, Luke and Gabrielle Gilbert; sisters, Lois Hart, Shirley Johnson, Laverne Messer, Annette Godfrey, Brenda Lee and one brother, Terry Lee. Grace was a kind, generous, loving mother, grandmother and friend.  She was proud of her son and loved all the children. She will be greatly missed.
