Gracie Haselden Infinger, 95, of Morrisville, NC, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on December 16, 2022, following a brief illness. Gracie was born on August 1, 1927 in Berkeley County, SC, the seventh of ten children born to Cleavie and Lessie Haselden of Shulerville. An incredibly kind and generous person, Gracie never met a stranger, and deeply touched the lives of those she encountered. Her life’s work was as a pastor’s wife, supporting her late husband’s (Rev. Talmadge S. Infinger) ministry, during their 71 years together. Gracie will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by an extensive loving family that includes sons Ronald E. Infinger (Mary) of Pinehurst, NC, and Glenn T. Infinger (Anne) of Atlanta, GA, daughter Elaine I. Hurst (Ed) of Cary, NC, and grandchildren Zachary Infinger of Raleigh, Allison Infinger (Nathan Faris) of Charlotte, Talmadge Infinger of Atlanta, Tyler Infinger of Washington, DC, Cameron Hurst of Pittsboro, NC and Walker Hurst of Raleigh. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 19, 2022, at Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 Rivers Avenue, Hanahan, SC 29406. Online condolences may be offered at www.bryan-leefuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, for anyone wishing to do so, contributions in Gracie’s memory may be made to the Talmadge S. and Gracie Infinger Divinity School Scholarship Fund at Campbell University, P.O Box 116, Buies Creek, NC 27506 (or online at give.campbell.edu).
