Gregory Stephen "Greg" Hicks

Gregory Stephen “Greg” Hicks, 60, passed away July 17, 2023. A native of Wake County, Greg was born February 10, 1963, to Mary Frances Phillips and the late William Douglas Hicks. He loved car racing and spent a lot of his time at Wake County Speedway. Greg also enjoyed tending to his garden, painting, and cooking out on the grill for family and friends.

Memorial Service will be held Thursday, July 20, 2023, at 11AM, in the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529. The family will receive friends following the service.

Greg is survived by his mother, Mary Frances Phillips; siblings, William Eugene Hicks and wife, Pamela, Darryl Douglas Hicks and wife, Cynthia J., Kenneth Glenn Hicks and wife, Vicki, Brenda Sharon Hicks Lovett, and Roy Dean Hicks and wife, Kelly; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
