H. Sue Creech

Hilda “Sue” Phillips Creech, lovingly known as Mama, Mema, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, and friend, passed from this temporary life onto her eternal home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ September 4, 2021. Funeral service will be Wednesday Sept. 8, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. A native of Johnston County and long time resident of Garner, Sue was the daughter of the late Melvin and Annie Hales Phillips. Along Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her forever love Elliott “Donk” Creech; son, Donny Creech, sisters, Esther Omara, Sadie Bissette, Clentis Capps, and brothers, Vernon Phillips and Donald Wayne Philips. Sue is survived by her children, Kim C. Pendergraph and husband Curtis , Cliff Creech and wife Belinda and Michelle Glover and husband Lloyd; sister, Linda Blackley, brothers, Nelson Phillips and wife Sue, J. H. Phillips and wife Linda, Percy Phillips and wife Becky, grandchildren Dustin Creech and wife Trish, Christopher Pendergraph and wife Shawna, Holly Pendergraph and wife Samantha, Cody Creech and wife Stephanie, Dillon Creech and wife Justine, Jessie Creech, Luke Creech, Amber Barbour and husband Shepard, Logan Glover and Cole Glover and wife Caeley and 11 great-grandchildren and a large extended family. The family will receive friends and relatives prior to the service, from 12:30- 1:45.
