Raleigh - Hal Lee Aldridge passed away on April 18, 2021. Hal was born on July 4, 1935 in Wake County to the late Hal F. and Neva Lee Guess Aldridge of Raleigh, NC. Hal graduated from Cary High School and served in the US Army. He was employed with Trailways Bus Company in Raleigh for a period of 22 years and 20 years at the North Carolina Baptist Convention in Raleigh until his retirement. He was preceded in death his first wife Mitzi Houston Aldridge, his parents, and his brothers Robert and Edwin Aldridge (Tanya). He is survived by his wife Ruth Franklin Aldridge, son Hal Anthony (Tony) Aldridge, and sister Helen Woodcock. He leaves behind several nieces, nephews, his step-children Tommy Curlee, Lynda C. Whitcher (Michael), Timmy Curlee (Glenda), and Lea C. Webb (David), along with nine step-grandchildren. Arrangements are by Bryan Lee of Garner. Graveside service will be held at Montlawn Memorial Park on Friday, April 23, at 11:00 AM. Family will receive friends at their residence. In lieu of Flowers, Memorial gifts may be directed to Ephesus Baptist Church, 6767 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh, NC, 27606.
