Harold Boyd Price, Sr.

GARNER – Harold B. Price, Sr., 98, passed away Wednesday. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM at the funeral home, prior to the service. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh. Harold honorably served in the Southern Pacific during World War II as a soldier in the U.S. Army. Among singing in the choir and country music, golf was Harold’s true passion during his free time. He was a loving son, husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather. In addition to his parents, Rupert and Jenolia Price, Harold was preceded in death by his brothers, James, Leslie, Wilbur, Hallie, Bobby and his loving grandchildren, Jeffrey and Jana. Harold is survived by his wife of 78 years, Doris Newton Price; sons, Harold B. Price, Jr. (Janice), Richard L. Price (Lynne), David C. Price (Jennifer); grandchildren, Samantha, Julie, Amanda and Evan; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Brooke, Matthew, Noah and a large and loving extended family.
