Harold G. Woodruff, passed away at home after a brief illness. Harold sold securities for many years. He was also a Master Mason for 50 years at the Grand Lodge of Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons of North Carolina. He graduated Garner High School in 1955 and married the love of his life Dorothy “Dot” Osburn. After returning from Florida in late 1979, he and Dot started the Carolina Cracker in the early 80’s. He also worked various jobs and part-time at the NC Fairgrounds Public Safety, since 1990.The family will receive friends and relatives Thursday June 23, 2016 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. He was a Wake County native and the only child of J. L. Chuck and Orell Woodruff. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Dorothy; daughter, Angela Woodruff and son, Rodrick Woodruff. He is survived by his three sons Harold G. Woodruff, Jr., Charles A. Woodruff and Joseph P. Woodruff; and six grandchildren.In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Transitions LifeCare 250 Hospice Cr. Raleigh, NC 27607.
