Harold R. Smith

Angier – Harold R. Smith, 77, passed away on Sunday.  Harold, an avid Wolfpack fan, was the son of the late Burnice and Katie Sauls Smith.  In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy; brother, Leonard; sisters, Betty and Retha. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Kennebec Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Mary Lou; sons, Mike and wife, Regina, Timmy and wife, Tara, Brian and wife, Cathy; step-children, Alan Honeycutt and wife, Jane, Scott Honeycutt and wife, Debra, Kristy Baker and husband, Rudy, LuAnne McLamb and husband, Andy; grandchildren, Cody, Tucker, Taylor and Jacob; step-grandchildren, Jessica, Nicholas, Caitlin, Annah, Andrea, Jeremiah and Eric; step-great-grandchildren, Tyler and Jace; sister, Sarah Pleasant and a large and loving extended family.
