Harold Scrappy Gray Partin, Sr.

DEC. 31, 1933 - JULY 5, 2012ANGIER-Harold Gray 'Scrappy' Partin, Sr., 78, of 5611 Piney Grove Rd. passed away on Thursday. A native of Harnett County he was the son of Millard Sorrell Partin and Ida King Partin. He was a veteran of the US Navy and a fireman with the Fort Bragg Fire Dept. until his retirement in 1985. After retirement he worked with the Tarheel Nursery until his health declined. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his son Donald H. Partin.Surviving are his wife Mary Alice Partin, sons, Daniel Partin of the home, Harold G. Partin, Jr. and wife, Jamie, William Price and wife, Angela, and Tommy Price all of Angier, daughters, Pam Willis and husband Clinton of Marshallburg, Angelique Stewart of Charleston, SC, Hope Price of Angier, brother, Bobby 'Dink' Partin of Angier, and thirteen grandchildren.The family will receive friends Saturday 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Angier.Funeral services will be held immediately after the visitation in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home with Rev.
