Harriet Daniel Lancaster

GARNER- Harriet Daniel Lancaster, 89, died peacefully in her sleep at home on Friday, October 30th. She was a loving mother and dedicated wife. Harriet was born October 9th, 1926 to Benjamin F. and Lucille (Burgess) Daniel in Belhaven, NC. She graduated from Belhaven High School in 1943 and attended Hardbargers Business School in Raleigh. She then worked many years for Carolina Securities in Raleigh. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Monday at Garner United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. Survivors include her husband, of 67 years, Larry Lancaster, she was the love of his life; daughter, Debra Ann Lancaster of Raleigh; son, Larry Lancaster and wife, Lynn of Raleigh; nephew, Bill Booth of Richmond, VA; great-nephews, Tyler and Luke Booth, who knew and loved her as their Grandmommy, as well as her granddog, Cody. She was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Booth and brother, Ben Daniel. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00-5:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner, 1200 Benson Road, Garner.
