NOVEMBER 8, 1943 - JANUARY 20, 2012 FUQUAY VARINA - Harriett Aunt Harriett Rose Edwards, Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2012 at Rex Hospital surrounded by her loving family and friends. A native of Wake County, she was born November 8, 1943 to the late Thurlo R. and Ethelene Walker King. She retired from Cooper Tools in 2007 after 35 years of service. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, January 23, 2012 at 2:00pm at Piney Grove Baptist Church, Fuquay Varina. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45pm prior to the service at the church. Harriett is survived by her loving husband, John C. JC Edwards; children, Jay Edwards and wife, Wendy, Sonya Sanford and husband, Neil, Darryl Edwards, and Dale Edwards and wife, Melinda; a special niece, Lisa Mangum; grandchildren, Austin, Tyler, Thomas, Melinda, Jonathan, Michael, Brianna, Abigail, Blake, and Brittany; brothers, Larry W. King, Quinn R. King, and Tommy J. King; and a sister, Martha K.
