Harriette Ratcliffe Finch

RALEIGH – Harriette Ratcliffe Finch, 81, of Garner passed away Thursday. A native of Carteret County, she was the daughter of the late John and Swannie Wade Ratcliffe. A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm, Sunday, August 20, 2017 at St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Raleigh. Burial will be held 11:00 am, Monday, August 21, 2017 at Oakdale Cemetery in Washington, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John Dean Taylor. Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Linwood Finch; sons, W. Allen Taylor of Raleigh, Dean Taylor (Gloria) of Raleigh; sisters, Nancy Fischer of Fort Lauderdale, FL; brother, John Ratcliffe, III (Sylvia), of Washington, NC; granddaughter, Sarah Taylor; beloved cat, George.
