Harry D. Wall, Sr.

GARNER – Harry Darwin Wall, Sr., 92, passed away at his home Saturday surrounded by his loving family. A native of Johnston County, he was the son of the late Walter Wall and Lizzie Johnson Wall. Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mildred Hopkins Wall; daughter, Ginger O’Neal and husband, Freddie of South Mills; son Harry Darwin Wall, Jr. and wife, Marilyn of Clayton; brother, Charles Wall and wife, Pat of Smithfield; grandchildren, Ryan Durham and fiancé, Shannon Tart of Selma, Stacie Clark and husband, Joey of Florence, SC, Chad O’Neal and wife, Magen of Elizabeth City, Richard Wall and wife, Cameron of Castle Hayne; great-grandchildren, Morgan Durham, Haiden Tart, Wyatt Clark, Emma Clark, Brinson and Miles O’Neal; a future great-grandchild, Baby Wall; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Harry is preceded in death by his sister, Nedra Richardson; brothers, Walter Wall and Joe Wall. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Garner, 601 St. Mary’s St. Garner, NC 27529 or Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle Raleigh, NC 27607 in Harry’s memory.
