Harry Leonard Delung, Jr.

Raleigh - Harry L. DeLung Jr., 73, passed away October 18, 2015 at his home in Raleigh. Raised in Atlanta, GA, he was the only son of Harry Sr. and Evelyn (Jackson) DeLung. Harry attended UNC Chapel Hill, graduating in 1964. He returned to Atlanta to attend Emory University Law School where he graduated in 1967, after serving as an editor of the law review. Harry practiced law for 45 years, specializing in business litigation in the transportation industry. He retired in Raleigh and eventually moved into The Cypress, where he enjoyed hosting dinner parties with friends and neighbors. Harry is survived by his son Jim, daughter-in-law Mollie, cousins, and many friends. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015 at the St. Michaels Episcopal Church of Raleigh at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heartland Hospice: 4505 Falls of Neuse Rd #650, Raleigh, NC 27609.
