FUQUAY-VARINA – Haywood Judson Jones, II, 67, passed away at his home on Sunday. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 13th at 3:00 PM at Kennebec Baptist Church, Angier. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00-2:45 PM in the church fellowship hall. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Dianne P. Jones; mother, Marian Christmas Jones of Fuquay-Varina; children, Tyson Jones (Jackie) of Hattiesburg, MS and Crystal Florine Broadhurst (Anson) of Angier; sisters, Elizabeth Jones Poplin (Greg) of Carthage, Zada Jones Barnes (Phil) of Willow Spring; his granddaughter who preceded him in passing, Macie Lynn Tucker; grandson, Joseph Allen Jones of Hattiesburg, MS. In addition to his granddaughter, HJ was preceded in death by his father, Haywood Judson Jones; brother, Rodney Allen Jones; grandmothers, Roselma F. Jones, and Maydelle J. Christmas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kennebec Baptist Church Building Fund, 9808 Kennebec Church Rd. Angier, NC 27501 in HJ’s memory.
