Hazel P. Wilkins

Raleigh - Hazel Gray Page Wilkins, 88, went home on Sunday. She was the daughter of the late Walter W. Page and Mary Choplin Page. Mom lived her life for her family and church. She was a true southern lady who had a gentle kind and Godly soul. Her smile and laughter will never be forgotten. She was a wonderful cook who dearly loved her children and grandchildren at her table. She taught us unconditional love, joy, peace, patience, and kindness. She will be dearly missed. Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Tuesday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Raleigh. Burial will follow at Briar Creek Memorial Gardens.She is survived by daughters: Dottie Wilkins of Raleigh and Brenda Moore and husband, David of Youngsville; sons, Bill Wilkins and wife, Margie of Raleigh and Howard Wilkins and wife, Carlene of Garner; and brother, Harold Page of Raleigh; grandchildren, Michael Wilkins, Jonathan Wilkins, Tracey Ricks, Richard Blake, Dustin Moore, Matthew Robinett, Graham Robinett and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Harry H. Wilkins, sisters, Ann Heath, Sue Dowdy, and Elizabeth Lib Page and brother, W. T. Junior Page.The family will receive friends Monday from 7-9:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Raleigh.The family wishes to thank the staff of Rex Nursing Center.Flowers are appreciated or memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
