Hazel Parsons Tinnin

Hazel Parsons Tinnin, 91, of Garner, went to be with the Lord, on Thursday, January 6, 2022. Hazel was born May 24, 1930, in Sampson County to the late William Albert Parsons and Ada Best Parsons. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Ernest Bradley Tinnin. She was a faithful follower of Christ and a long time member of Mid-Way Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at 11am, at Mid-Way Baptist Church, 6910 Fayetteville Road, Raleigh, NC 27603. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10-11am at the church, prior to the service. She is survived by son, Rev. Al Tinnin and wife, Mischia; daughter, Charlene Tinnin Chapman and husband, David; grandchildren, Charity Tinnin, Faith T. Jones (West), Hope Tinnin, and special grandson, Tommy McGee (Tammy); great grandsons, Kellett, Morgan, and Andrew “Andy” Jones; sisters, Willa Dean Daughtry and husband, Raeford of Newton Grove, NC and Faye Todd and husband, Ray of Mt. Pleasant, SC.
