Henry Dowell Liles, Sr.

RALEIGH -Henry Dowell Liles, Sr., 79, died Saturday.A native of Wake County, he was the son of the late David and Lillie Liles.Mr. Liles retired after 30 years of service as a teacher and coach. He was a dedicated educator and friend who loyally served and loved the children of Garner.Funeral services will be 11 AM, Monday at Fellowship Baptist Church, Raleigh. Burial will follow at Wake Crossroad Baptist Church Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Ingeborg Liles; son, Hank D. Liles, Jr. of Clayton; daughter. Brenda Liles Buday of Raleigh; stepchildren, Laurie Keyser of Clayton and Phil Sauls of Fuquay-Varina; brother Glenwood Liles; grandchildren, Henry D. Liles III., Brianna Elisabeth Buday, Kimi Amber Liles, Kris Lee, Dylan Massey, Logan Pearce, Erika Pearce and Abigail Keyser.The family will receive friends 4-6 PM Sunday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner
