GARNER – Henry F. “Hank” Lauver, born on May 13, 1936, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 15, 2018. He was 82. Hank accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior during the summer of 1973 in El Paso, Texas. He attended Garner Free Will Baptist Church for many years where he served as an Adult Sunday School teacher. Hank’s favorite Bible verse was Luke 11:23 – “He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.” (KJV). Hank was predeceased by his wife, Melba C. Lauver; son, Barry W. Martin; father, Robert D. Lauver; his step-mother, Lou Ceille Lauver; and his mother, Dorothy I. Lauver. Surviving are his daughters, Linda Ladd and husband, Steve of Martinsburg, WV, Cheryl Moore and husband, Mike of Mechanicsville, MD, Sue Hawkins and husband, Greg of Seymour, TN; daughter-in-law, Kim Martin of Virginia Beach, VA; 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; brother, Robert H. Lauver and wife, Sue of Selinsgrove, PA; and his sister, Barbara Ann Russell of Wilton, CA. Visitation will be at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner from 6:00-8:00 PM on Sunday, November 18, 2018. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Garner Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh.
