Herman Alphus Lee

Garner, North Carolina - Herman Alphus Lee, 92, of Garner, NC, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 4, 2023. He was born to the late Lundy Leland Lee and Mattie Snead Lee on June 17, 1931 in Johnston County. He was the widower of Ruby Bernice Lee. He was preceded in death by his son Freddy Herman Lee and his wife, Jan, his daughter Susie Lee Taylor and eight siblings. He is survived by his daughter, Janice Lee Smith and her husband, Ronnie; his son Dennie Lee and his wife, Peggy Buckingham; his grandchildren; Travis Smith and his wife Ludin, Christa Smith Evans and her husband Jay, Jennifer Lee Rabon, Robbie Lee and his wife Ashley, Cynthia Lee Behnke and her husband, Adam, Daniel Everett, Pamela Dawn Daugherty, Dana Renee Brown, Timothy Taylor and his wife, Lillie, Landon Buckingham, and Chelsea LoConte; fourteen great-grandchildren and three great, great-grandchildren; his brother, Cecil Lee and his sister, Mavis Lee Wheeler.

The family will receive friends and family Monday, September 11, 2023 from 11:00 to 11:45 in the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner, NC. Funeral services to follow at 12:00 pm with the burial to follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.
