Holly Nicole Kuhn

Holly Nicole Kuhn, 21, passed unexpectedly on December 9, 2020. A native of Wake County, Holly was born December 10, 1998 to Kenneth Joseph and Lisa Midyett Kuhn. Holly graduated from West Johnston High School and was a senior at Catawba College, where she was majoring in Environmental Science with Sustainability and Marketing. She was the head resident advisor on campus and was a natural leader and people person. Holly was a great artist, very crafty, creative, loved adventure, and the outdoors. She was a counselor at the Environmental Summit for students every year. Holly is survived by her parents, Lisa and Kenneth Kuhn; fiancé, Zachary Johnson; sister, Mary Kendall Kuhn; brother, Corporal Matthew Lane Kuhn, USMC; grandparents, Charles and Wenonah Watts Midyett; aunts and uncles, Helen LaFuria, Ed Kuhn and wife, Pattie, James Kuhn and wife, Cheri, Barbara Kuhn, Steve Kuhn, and Patricia Kuhn; cousins, Megan Smith, Nathan LaFuria, Madison LaFuria, Edward Kuhn, Ashley Pippin, James Kuhn, Christopher Kuhn, Catie Szymanowski, and Jennifer Kuhn; as well as several extended family members. Holly was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward and Mary Ann Kuhn, and cousin, Steve Kuhn. Arrangements by Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
