Howard Glenn Penny, 57, died March 22, 2012. Howard was born March 26, 1954 in Raleigh, NC the son of Marion Charles Penny, husband of Alice W. Penny, and Rebecca Warren Dillon, wife of Benjamin Franklin Dillon.Howard was survived by wife, Sonya Jean Tolley. Howard was a loving father to oldest son Nathan Matthew Penny, father to Howards only granddaughter, Cassy Colleen Penny; son Warren Neil Penny and only daughter Rachel Fleming Penny.Additional survivors include sisters Carolyn F. Penny of Raleigh, NC; Lorraine P. Dotson & husband Tracy W. Dotson of Fuquay-Varina, NC; step-sisters Cindy D. Thompson and Wesley Thompson of Raleigh, NC; Sherry Sherron of Raleigh, NC; Allison S. Schmidt & husband Michael L. Schmidt of Chesapeake, VA; Pamela S. Targett & friend Frank Strickland of Richmond, VA; step-brothers Ronald H. Sherron & friend Pauline Purvis of Garner, NC; and Andy E. Sherron of Goldsboro, NC. Howard was the uncle and great-uncle to many.We will celebrate Howards life at 2:30 P.M on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home prior to the service.
