Howard Ray Beasley

Howard Ray Beasley, 66, passed away on March 10, 2017 of Myelofibrosis and Myelodysplastic Syndrome. He was a native of Harnett Co. and the son of the late Milton and Gertrude Beasley. Howard was employed by the NC State Construction Office as Electrical Design Supervisor. He was proud and thankful to have worked with a wonderful group of people. He retired from Goodyear/Kelly Springfield after 36 years. He held a B.A. in Theology and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday March 14, 2017 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Banner Chapel Church Cemetery, Benson, NC. The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM. Howard was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles and Lewis Beasley. He is survived by his fiancée, Nancy Vincent of Raleigh; daughter, Courtney Beasley of Dunn; sister, Margaret Peacock of Garner; and nieces and nephews.
