Hubert Clinton "Clint" Stanley, Jr.

Clint went to his heavenly home, also known to him as the “happy huntin’ ground” on October 14th surrounded by his family. Clint was born November 9, 1953, the son of Hubert and Lillie Stanley in Columbus County, NC. He graduated in 1972 from Garner High School. After High school, Clint started his career as a building contractor. He took great pride in building homes. Everyone knew what a hardworking man he was; Whatever standards were set, Clint far exceeded them every time. He was a longtime faithful member of Holland’s Church. To say that Clint was “one of kind” is truly an understatement to all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Lillie Stanley, and his sister, Frances Bailey. Clint is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Lisa, his five children, Michael (Audrey) Stanley, Jennifer (Stan) Ferguson, Parker, Karlin, & Griffin Stanley, his three grandchildren Wyatt & Whitley Stanley, and Lillie Ann Ferguson, and his brother and sister, Bill Stanley and Betty Jo Perritte.

The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, October 17th at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner from 6:00-8:00 pm.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 18th at 11:00 am at Holland’s Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Able to Serve at 2100 Buffaloe Road, Garner, NC 27529.
