Inez Marie Saulter Bridges

GARNER - Inez Marie Saulter Bridges passed away in Wilkesboro, NC on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 after a long illness. Inez was born in Jones County, North Carolina on May 24 1933. She was the daughter of the late Albert Fuller Saulter, Sr. and Verdie Collins Saulter. Inez graduated from White Oak High School as Valedictorian in 1952. She then attended and graduated from Hardbargers Business School in Raleigh. Inez married James Albert Bridges on Valentines Day in 1956. Inez worked for the Federal Government Social Security Administration Office of Hearings and Appeals for almost 30 years before retiring in 1995. She was preceded in death by her husband, beloved daughter Amy Lynn Bridges and older brother, Albert (Doodle) Fuller Saulter, Jr. Inez is survived by her daughter Janis Bridges Joyce and her husband Vencint and her son Kelly Todd Bridges and his wife Tina. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Justine Bridges Barron and her husband Albert, Chrissy Bridges, Shaun Ray and Adam Ray and by three great-grandchildren Albert, Jr, Connor and Arianna. She is also survived by her nephew Dennis Wayne Saulter and his wife Cindy, and their two daughters. Inez was known for her unfailing kindness to everyone and for her strength of character. She enjoyed people and loved her friends. The most important thing in her life was always her family and she will be forever missed. The family would like to express our appreciation to all of the healthcare providers who cared for Inez over the past year. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner, NC.
