Ira Wayne Sears

Ira Wayne Sears Sr, 89 years of age, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024, in his home, surrounded by his family. Wayne was born on June 2, 1934, in Fuquay Varina, North Carolina, to the late Coy and Exie Lee Sears. He served in the United States Air Force and was known as the Telephone Man around Fuquay and Angier.

The family will receive friends at the home of Linwood and Brenda Harrell, 6018 Cokesbury Road, Fuquay Varina, NC 27526, on Sunday, February 4th starting at 3 PM.

A graveside service will be held at Cokesbury Church Cemetery, 6678 River Rd, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526 on Monday, February 5th at 3pm.
