Irvin C. Matt Mattivi

Irvin Mattivi, (83), son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Agostino Mattivi, of Kersey, PA died quietly at home on March 13, 2013. Upon returning from the Korean War, married (6-20-53) the love of his life, Geraldine C. (Jean) Mattivi & raised their four daughters in Raleigh, NC. They have 8 grandchildren, & 8 great grandchildren; also survived by three sisters and three brothers. He retired from IBM in 1995. He stayed active in his church, St. Josephs Catholic Church and with the Knights of Columbus. He was a loving example to his family & friends, & all. The family would like to express their gratitude to his devoted caregivers Brie, Kim, Tracy, and Debbie. Visitation is Sunday, March 17, 3-5pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Road, Raleigh, NC. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Monday, March 18, at 11am. Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to your favorite charity.
