Ivey Glenn Smith, Jr.

Ivey Glenn Smith Jr. “Glenn”, 75, of Raleigh, NC passed away suddenly on November 30, 2022 at his home.

Glenn is preceded in death by his father, Ivey Glenn, and his mother, Elwynne Larue.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; children, Heather, Patrick, and Scott; brothers, Donald, Alan, and Van; Grandchildren, Colten and Evelyn and other family and friends.

Glenn was born in Raleigh, NC on March 14, 1947. He joined the United States Navy at 18 and served our country proudly for over 20 years. He received his engineering degree from the U.S Navy following his two tours in Vietnam. He retired from the Navy and continued onto his second career, as a Field Service Engineer, for 16 years.

Glenn married Kathleen on June 26, 1982, they were married for 40 years.
