Jack Floyd Williams

FUQUAY-VARINA – Jack Williams, 89, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Rex Hospital in Raleigh.

He was born in Durham County on November 3, 1934, the son of the late Jesse James Williams and Della White Williams. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his sons, Jimmy Lee Williams and Billy Eugene Williams; granddaughter, Summer Rose Williams; and his 10 brothers and sisters.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Ruth Williams; daughters, Sue Ellen Garrison and husband, Mark of Raleigh, Tammy Ann Holt of Angier; sons, Hank Ray Williams and wife, Tamitha of Hickory, Richard Edward Williams and wife, Jennifer of Fuquay-Varina; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren with 1 more on the way.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 5, 2024, in the Chapel of Bryan- Lee Funeral Home of Angier with burial following at Willow Spring Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
