Jackie Lee McLaughlin, age 33, passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2022 in Clayton, NC, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply and will miss him profoundly. Jack was born in Baltimore, MD and moved to North Carolina in 2004. He loved his family and cherished the times hunting and camping with his Pop- Pop and Grammy. He treasured the times spent with his dad and his family. He loved going to the Ravens and Orioles games. Jack was a movie aficionado, most especially of Batman, his favorite character. He was a video game, fantasy sports, and computer enthusiast. Jack loved driving, listening to music, and spending time with friends. Jack is survived by his loving mother Darleen McLaughlin & fiancé Ron Szaro & family of Clayton; his loving father Shawn Bowers & family of Glen Burnie, MD; his beloved maternal grandparents Darius (Pop-Pop) & Ruth Anne (Grammy) McLaughlin of Clayton; his step-father Bryan Deschenes & family of Kenly; his sister Alyssa Deschenes & brother-in-law Zach Thompson of Clayton; paternal grandparents Elton & Burma Bowers of Glen Burnie, MD; uncles; aunts; cousins; a huge extended family; and many friends. A graveside Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, August 31st, at 11am, at Sandy Grove Cemetery; 19715 NC Hwy 210 Angier, NC 27501, with Pastor Leonard Rex officiating.
