Jacqueline "Jackie" Fay Hayes

Jacqueline Fay Hayes, age 74, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 19, 1950 in Norfolk, Virginia to Autry Lee Dixon and Myrtle Mae Dixon.

Jackie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her most cherished moments were spending time with her family. For many years, Jackie enjoyed her work at Rex Hospital, where she made many friends and colleagues.

Jackie was preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle, father, Autry, sister, Sadie, and brother, Lloyd.

Jackie leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of 27 years, Kelly Hayes of Bunnlevel, NC; her son, Chris Trice (Melonie) of Willow Spring, NC; her grandson, Colby Trice (Emily) of Clayton, NC; her granddaughters, Kelsey Mahfouz (Jonathan) of Garner, NC, and Samantha Trice (Thatcher) also of Garner, NC; and the apples of her eye, her great-grandbabies, Atlee and Lincoln. She also leaves behind her loved mother-in-law; two brother-in-laws; and sister-in-law

All of those she loved and touched deeply, please join us in celebrating her life on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Garner, NC. Following the service, the family will host a time of visitation for family and friends at the home of Chris and Melonie Trice at 3021 Jackson King Road, Willow Spring, NC.
