Jake Vincent

GARNER – Jake Vincent, 29, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Jake was a gifted and talented musician and guitarist. He was a graduate of the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill class of 2013. He worked as a technology sales support specialist. Jake enjoyed world travel, golfing, fishing, and cooking. He lived life to the fullest and he will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. Jake was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, David Rickman. He leaves behind to cherish his memory a loving family, which includes his mother, Melissa Rickman Cumber and step-dad, Mike of Garner; father, Ron Vincent and step-mom, Lisa of Sherrills Ford; sister, Caitlin Vincent and husband, Frederic Coeman of Zurich, Switzerland; step-sister, Stephanie Kihlstrom and husband, Tim of Hillsborough; maternal grandmother, Lynda Davis and husband, Wade of Raleigh; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Joan Vincent of State College, Pennsylvania; niece, Evelyn Kihlstrom; nephews, Theodore and Raphael Coeman; and his partner, Rachel Quindlen.
