ANGIER– James “Jimmy” W. Riewestahl, 84, passed away at Duke Regional Hospital on Wednesday. Born in Breighton, Wisconsin, James was the son of the late Erwin and Margaret Schaefer Riewestahl. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Lawrence Riewestahl, to whom he was married 58 years; daughter, Heather Flowers and husband, Scott of Coats; sons, Dennis Riewestahl of Angier, Keith Riewestahl and wife, Delores of Angier, Andy Riewestahl and wife, Beverly of Coats; sister-in-law, Ruby Riewestahl of Chetek, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Justin Riewestahl (Charlotte) of Buies Creek, Jamie Riewestahl (Megan) of Wade, Jessica Hines (Dakota) of Newport, Kayla Riewestahl of Coats, Austin Riewestahl of Coats, Abbie Flowers of Coats, Caleb Flowers of Coats; great-grandchildren, Conrad Riewestahl, Garrett Riewestahl, John Michael Hines, Jacey Hines, Hudson Riewestahl; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, James was predeceased by his sisters, Dorothy Kell and Beatrice Nottelson; brothers, Erwin Riewestahl, Paul Riewestahl, and Bob Schaefer. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at Oak Grove Baptist Church at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 pm on Saturday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.
